Excellent compilation of Tiziano's hits over his 14 year career. The songs are mixed together from each of his five previous CDs on these four CDs so you don't really get an idea of his growth and maturity as an artist based on this compilation alone. However, this collection is a gem and the new and previously unreleased tracks along with the duets are worth every penny. Pop, ballads, rap, bossa nova, etc., it's all here. You will not be disappointed.

For those who like a their prog a little on the Bluesy side then JUMBO will be just the treat you have been needing. JUMBO delivers complex classic Bluesy prog in a very non-traditional Italian style. This release is in my opinion the best jumbo output although I love their earlier albums too… "Vietato…" offers great guitar work, lots of keyboards (including a mellotron), nice and complex drumming with loads of acoustic guitar. Vocals are raw and a little harsh until you get used to them…

Film director Alfonso Cuarón's dystopian science fiction thriller Children of Men is about a near future in which human fertility has nearly ceased, and to represent a setting that is familiar yet disturbing, the compilers of this various-artists soundtrack (there is also an album of the score) have chosen some rock and pop songs by well-known artists dating back to the '60s, some of them, however, presented in versions not so well known. Everybody knows the heavy metal band Deep Purple, but the band's initial American hit, a cover of Joe South's "Hush," doesn't sound much like its more successful "Smoke on the Water" phase. The Beatles' "Tomorrow Never Knows" and the Rolling Stones' "Ruby Tuesday" are iconic '60s songs, but they are here performed by Junior Parker and heavily accented Italian singer Franco Battiato, respectively.

Trailed by the energetic drummer Nunzio "Cucciolo" Favia, Osage Tribe A.D. 2013 reborn with most of the original line-up, given the involvement of bassissta Bob Callero, accompanied by young guitarist Mattia Tedesco. "Hypnosis" combines songs of the legendary debut revisited in a hard-prog key, with new tracks in the same style, where "Delitto Erotico" and the title-track show oriental influences. The CD edition includes three cover songs of classic hard rock ("We're an American Band", "Fireball", "Can't Find My Way Home").

Come recita la copertina, le canzoni di Giovanni Lindo Ferretti e compagni sono state 'disidratate' da Battiato e reinventate con arrangiamenti nuovi, in un progetto nato puramente dalla reciproca stima fra gli artisti, visto che la formazione dei PGR non e' piu' in attivita'.
