ELP initially wanted to release this album as a free give away with "Tarkus", but common sense prevailed and it was released in the UK, on "Island Records". An exceptionally well recorded album - the drums, in particular, are captured with clarity and dynamics, and the mix is very well balanced. "Pictures at an Exhibition" is a great album from my childhood and it still gives me excitement and fun to hear this LP. Dim the lights tonight, increase the **volume and Enjoy! ** Beware: The ultimate "workout" for your speakers :-) Note: Tracks walk-over in each other; so gapless burning is essential to seamless play the whole album.

A really varied collection of sounds, from weird Noise through Ambient to MTV-suitable Alternative Rock. The record was a little noisy, too, but that noise fits nicely into the recorded noise. Only released in Germany, like lots of their material came out only in Europe.

For much of the picture, live shows by Willie Nelson and his Family Band were recorded before audiences filled with lucky fans who had won the chance to be “extras” in radio giveaways. They were real concerts, with real audiences, filmed to be part of a road movie about a fictional artist. The recording engineer for the movie music and the soundtrack album was Bradley Hartman, who had been with Brian Ahern's Enactron Studios for a few years. He had recorded and mixed Stardust, as well as other Nelson projects during the mid-1970s.

Burnt Weeny Sandwich is an album by Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, released in 1970. The album was essentially a 'posthumous' Mothers release having been released after Frank Zappa dissolved the band. Presumably a favorite musician of Zappa's, the versatile Ian Underwood's contributions are significant on this album. The album, like its counterpart Weasels Ripped My Flesh, comprises tracks from the Mothers vault that were not previously released.
