From Dusk Till Dawn: Music from the Motion Picture is the soundtrack album for the 1996 action-comedy-horror film, From Dusk till Dawn, directed by Robert Rodriguez and screenplay by Quentin Tarantino. The album is predominantly Texas blues, featuring such artists as ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimmie Vaughan. The film's score was composed by Graeme Revell, and two short excerpts of his work are featured on the album. There are also extracts of dialogue from the film. The Chicano rock band Tito & Tarantula, who portrayed the band in the Titty Twister bar, appears on the soundtrack as well.

Prince doubled down on risque rock & funk on 1981's Controversy. Pop hits eluded him this time around, but "Controversy" and "Let's Work" made the Billboard R&B chart, which wasn't the only time Prince visited these particular charts in 1981. He masterminded the eponymous debut album by the Time, a Minneapolis funk band featuring his old friend Morris Day. All this buzz led the Rolling Stones to hire Prince as an opener for part of their 1981 tour, running into audiences that were unwilling to embrace his genre-bending music. He'd soon find wider acceptance for his music with 1999.

Milan Records and Sony Music Masterworks have announced a soundtrack album for the Netflix anime original series Seis Manos. The album features the selections of the show’s original music composed by Carl Thiel (From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, The Teller and the Truth). The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on October 4, 2019.

Patricia Vonne (née Rodriguez) is an American singer and actress. A native of San Antonio, Texas, Vonne moved to New York City in 1990-2001 to pursue her artistic ambitions. She worked extensively in Europe and America and was featured in the film Sin City as Dallas (aka Zorro Girl) & national/international commercials, and film work. She formed her own musical band, which performed on the New York circuit from 1998-2001. She then relocated to her native Texas where she currently tours extensively in the U.S., Mexico and Europe. She toured as a member of Tito & Tarantula, the band featured in the film From Dusk Till Dawn in 2002. Her song, "Traeme Paz", was featured in the film Once Upon a Time in Mexico. Her song "Mudpies and Gasoline" is featured in the Quentin Tarantino presented film Hell Ride. She is the sister of Angela Lanza, Marcel Rodriguez and Robert Rodriguez. Tarantism is the debut album by Los Angeles rock band Tito & Tarantula, released in 1997. The album was the first full-length CD that the band ever released, after developing a fan base from performing the songs "After Dark", "Angry Cockroaches (Cucarachas Enojadas)", and "Opening Boxes" on the From Dusk Till Dawn soundtrack as well as the songs "Back to the House (That Love Built)", "Strange Face (of Love)", and "White Train" to the Desperado soundtrack, both of those films by Robert Rodriguez, who co-produced the album.
