PAL - that means a collaboration of the three protagonists Peo Petersson (v), Peter Andersson (b) and Roger Ljunggren (g, ex T'BELL). The Swedes know each other a long time and recorded some demos thirty years ago by the name of ESCAPE. You get melodic/AOR with a distinct flavor of classic rock and a little slice of pop here and there. The debut of the three-piece, which get support by Mauritz Petersson (dr), is full of melodies and excellent and diverse guitars foremost. Tracks like the electrifying “Carry On“, the beautiful ballad by the name of “What We Could Have Been“ or the impulsive “Hiding Away From Love“ definitely deserve attention. It might have taken some time but in the end “Prime“ is a highly relaxed and high quality piece of music. It was about time!
