Arthur Lee was the leader of the great Los Angeles band Love. After years of releasing fantastic albums for Elektra, they found a new home at Blue Thumb. "Out Here" was their 1969 double album with a lot of incredible songs, folk ballads, a big massive drum solo, and psychedelic weirdness. This is the first digital release of this album when it was released by One Way/MCA in 1990 so consider this the "unremastered" version.

Love broadened their scope into psychedelia on their sophomore effort, Arthur Lee's achingly melodic songwriting gifts reaching full flower. The six songs that comprised the first side of this album when it was first issued are a truly classic body of work, highlighted by the atomic blast of pre-punk rock "Seven & Seven Is" (their only hit single), the manic jazz tempos of "Stephanie Knows Who", and the enchanting "She Comes in Colors", perhaps Lee's best composition (and reportedly the inspiration for the Rolling Stones' "She's a Rainbow"). It's only half a great album, though; the seventh and final track, "Revelation", is a tedious 19-minute jam that keeps Da Capo from attaining truly classic status.

An East L.A. band from the 1960s, Thee Midniters are a bit of a well-kept secret. Led by the soulful vocals of Willie Garcia, the guitar playing of George Dominguez, and the ferocious drumming of George Salazar and Danny LaMont – and featuring horns, timbales, and congas – Thee Midniters were solidly professional, and essentially set the template for later pop horn bands like Blood, Sweat & Tears and Chicago, although almost any musical form was in play for this band, including British Invasion, R&B, salsa, gospel, and straight-out soul.

G-Funk Classics, Vol. 1 & 2 is the debut studio album by American singer and rapper Nate Dogg. Vol. 1 of the album was originally released through Death Row Records in January 1997, but was taken off the market a week after its release due to legal problems at Death Row Records. It was then rereleased as a two volume set by Breakaway Entertainment in the summer of 1998. By that time, the popularity of West Coast hip hop had greatly diminished and the album only managed to make it to number 58 on the Billboard 200 and number 20 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. The album did produce four singles with two top 40 singles, however, "Never Leave Me Alone", which was released on October 22, 1996, through Death Row Records and peaked at number 33 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Produced by Stock Aitken Waterman but originally unreleased in the UK, American girl group Boy Krazy's classic 1993 album is given a Special Edition reissue on Cherry Pop.
The last full album SAW began before Matt Aitken's departure from the production team, "Boy Krazy" features the 1993 US Top 20 hit `That's What Love Can Do' and the follow-up `Good Times With Bad Boys' (#59 US), together with the 1992 UK single, `All You Have To Do'.

Meant as a statement of her new direction, Kylie Minogue's fifth album no longer featured the Stock-Aitken-Waterman production gloss and found the diminutive singer working with hip dance producers like David Seaman. From the first notes of the opener "Confide in Me," you know this is not the teen pop queen of old. Kylie Minogue (also note the use of her last name on the cover) wanted to sound grown up, and she pulls it off with ease. Duotones is the fourth studio album by saxophonist Kenny G. It was released by Arista Records in 1986, and peaked at number one on the Contemporary Jazz Albums chart, number five on the Jazz Albums chart, number six on the Billboard 200 and number eight on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The album was certified Platinum by the RIAA. April 2011 8x platinum RIAA sold 28 million internationally. This is the album that put Kenny G over the top, the one that made him a capitol-S star. With DUOTONES, Kenny G finally found the right recipe for his mellow stew of smooth jazz, R&B, and pop. DUOTONES is both easygoing and moody, breezy and cinematic, soulful and schmaltzy, peppy and chill-out music. On this disc, G lowers the R&B quotient a little, and adds some vocalists to the mix (such as the fine Lenny Williams, formerly of Tower Of Power).
