Reissue of the second album of the jazz-rock band Gamma, released on the German label Paisley Press. The band was formed in the 70's and released only two albums.

THE ARTIST Gamma Ray, Germany’s power metal institution celebrate their anniversary! Gamma Ray immediately hit the spot with their debut album “Heading For Tomorrow” in 1990, released straight after Hansen decided to leave Helloween, the band he co-founded and with whom he enjoyed world fame, gold and platinum awards with records like “Keeper Of The Seventh Keys” (Part I and II) still among the best sellers for the metal genre. Gamma was a band formed by guitarist Ronnie Montrose and singer Davey Pattison in San Francisco in 1979. They released four albums: Gamma 1 in 1979, Gamma 2 in 1980, Gamma 3 in 1982 (all on Elektra Records) and Gamma 4 in 2000. The Best of Gamma is an excellent 16-track collection that hits most of the high points of their career, including "Meanstreak," "Dirty City," "Voyager," "Condition Yellow," "Thunder and Lightning," "Razor," "Modern Girl," "What's Gone is Gone" and "Fight to the Finish."
