Le chamanisme n'est pas une religion et pas davantage une philosophie de type new-age : il a de tous temps été un ensemble de moyens psychomentaux visant à aider l'être humain à mieux vivre sur terre. Il a toujours visé des buts pragmatiques : soigner les maladies, parer aux famines, à la malchance, aux coups du sort… Et, contrairement à ce que pensent ceux qui sont mal informés : le chamanisme est universel et il n'est pas mort. En fait, il est étroitement corrélé aux états non-ordinaires de conscience (ENOCs) et ceux-ci sont inhérents à l'espèce humaine : ainsi, tout homme et toute femme qui s'y entraîne est potentiellement capable de développer des capacités de chaman.

Three CDs containing over three hours forty-five minutes of music can't be bad! We have tracks donated by well known favourites such as Binar, Radio Massacre International, Ron Boots, Skin Mechanix and AirSculpture plus some of the more successful new kids on the block: The Omega Syndicate, Create and The Glimmer Room. That is not all though as this collection also provides an opportunity for some of those artists who are currently just 'bubbling under the surface' to be heard.

A solo album by Ashen Simian of Nemesis. This album consists of the material recorded as a musical diary during the late summer and autumn 0f 2018. The moods differ from pensive ambient to more uptempo electronica, but always the basic style is the familiar blend of vintage sounds and more modern elements.

These Awakenings compilations are always interesting, featuring a selection of previously unreleased tracks from both well-known names amongst the Electronic Music scene and those who might not be quite there yet but on the basis of some of their offerings often should be!
