Garzon

A flamenco jazz album led by a bassist. The simple piano trio and saxophone/flute lineup is joined by four flamenco singers, each of whom sings jazzy songs full of exotic moods.

Pianist, composer and teacher, who started in music at 8 years of age by vocation and inspired by his father who is also a musician. Although with a solid base in the classical repertoire for piano, his interest in jazz and improvised music has led him to start a new career path, participating in academic components in international festivals such as the VIII Panama Jazz Festival, the IX Cartagena International Music Festival as an International guest at the recent 2018 Sumaq Festival in Lima (Peru) and receiving master-class from pianists such as Jean Michel Pilc, Danilo Pérez and Enrico Pieranunzi.

L'aderenza alla realtà vissuta, pur nell'iperbole di ogni delitto e nella minuziosa originalità di ogni personaggio; i dialoghi tra Petra e il suo vice Garzón, miscela audace di umori tra Cervantes e Almodóvar; la complicità del lettore con tutte le complicazioni private dei due eroi; una comicità mai ovvia; un persistente disincanto; l'autentico, non ricercato, umorismo della battuta capace di arricchire di senso le situazioni narrative: sono gli elementi riconosciuti del successo dei polizieschi alla Petra Delicado.
