Hip-O Select's 2004 compilation Get It While You Can: The Complete Legendary Verve Sessions is not the first time Howard Tate's revered sessions for Verve have reached CD. About ten years earlier, in the summer of 1995, Mercury released the almost identically titled Get It While You Can: The Legendary Verve Sessions, which contained all of Tate's 1966 debut – also titled Get It While You Can – along with five bonus tracks, for a total of 17 cuts.

10cc's fourth album, HOW DARE YOU, is the last to feature the original lineup of Eric Stewart, Graham Gouldman, Lol Creme and Kevin Godley. Godley and Creme left shortly after the recording of this album to explore the commercial and artistic possibilities of an instrument they invented, the Gizmo. The Gizmo's eerie drone is all over this record, slotting in beautifully with the multilayered vocal arrangements which were the band's other sonic trademark…

Solid debut from new British band with a brilliant name. Influences are worn lightly on their sleeves, with Wolfmother having obvious current similarities. So I detect a bit of Zeppelin of course, but also Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Datsuns perhaps, with a bit of psychedelic Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Foo fighters…I could go on and you'll find your own connections. Even with all these elements being present there is a great deal of creativity and multi-layering in these songs - they are NOT just straight ahead riff fests, but often thoughtful and powerful pieces of work.

Chaos and the Calm is the debut studio album by English singer-songwriter James Bay. It was released on 23 March 2015 through Republic Records. The Official Charts Company reported that Chaos and the Calm debuted at number one in the UK chart on Sunday 29 March 2015, having sold over 64,000 copies in the first week of release.
