Cat People is a 1982 American erotic horror film directed by Paul Schrader. It stars Nastassja Kinski and Malcolm McDowell; John Heard, Annette O'Toole, Ruby Dee, Ed Begley Jr., Scott Paulin, and Frankie Faison play supporting roles. Wilbur Stark and Jerry Bruckheimer served as executive producers. Alan Ormsby wrote the screenplay, basing it loosely on the story by DeWitt Bodeen, the screenwriter for the original Cat People (1942). Giorgio Moroder composed the film's score, including the theme song, which features lyrics and vocals by David Bowie.

Giorgio's rendition of Battlestar Galactica was released on Casablanca Records in 1978. The entire title of the 12" Lp Record is "Music From Battlestar Galactica & Other Compositions From Georgio Moroder". Harold Faltermeyer also co-produced this album.

Giorgio Moroder is such an important figure in the musical landscape, for so many reasons. Not only did he make electronic music user friendly (and radio friendly), but he produced some of the biggest pop hits of the 70s and 80s. He was a one man industry who was incredibly prolific, working with everyone from Donna Summer to David Bowie, Berlin, Blondie, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Japan and everyone in between. He scored films, restored "Metropolis", designed a car and wrote a billion songs along the way.

This is the soundtrack to the 1980 film American Gigolo. The soundtrack was anchored by the hit song "Call Me" by New York new wavers Blondie and the rest of the CD featured music by Giorgio Moroder. The album also featured a cut by Cheryl Barnes. This is taken from the Polydor CD released in 1990, the first digital version of this soundtrack, digitally remastered by Jeff Willens.

Munich Machine, though created by Giorgio Moroder & Pete Bellotte, were several studio musicians that played on the majority of the German records that came out in the late 70's. Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte were the production team behind Donna Summer, and Munich Machine were were the musicians for the early Donna Summer and Roberta Kelly albums. This release was remastered at Universal Mastering Studios.
