Fourth studio album by the American punk rock band. Recorded as the follow-up to the band's multi-platinum breakthrough 'Dookie', 'Insomniac' featured a heavier sound and bleaker lyrics than its predecessor. Four songs were released as singles, 'Geek Stink Breath', 'Stuck with Me', 'Brain Stew/Jaded', and 'Walking Contradiction'. This vinyl double LP includes the cover art printed on prismatic silver foil as well as an additional LP with 8 rare or never previously released live tracks from the Prague stop of the 'Insomniac' world tour on March 26, 1996 and an etched B-side.

Since the early '90s, Bay Area trio Green Day has been one of the most celebrated and successful bands in the world, growing from an energetic and snarling pop-punk band into an increasingly melodic and stylistically adventurous act, and infiltrating the mainstream early in the process. LEGENDARY GREEN DAY BROADCAST FROM SOUTH CAROLINA 1998 Upon completion of that year s sold-out tour of Japan and Australia, Green Day launched the next leg of their North American Nimrod tour on 30th April 1998, in Houston, TX, having already made an MTV Special a few days earlier on April 17th. Once the tour was underway, the group made two special stops in New York City; the first on May 7th to appear on Late Show with David Letterman, where they performed their Top Five hit Time Of Your Life (Good Riddance), and then an appearance on Howard Stern's national radio show the morning of May 8th. On May 5th the boys were in South Carolina to perform one of the tour s best gigs, the classic show at Myrtle Beach s House Of Blues. With the full set from this legendary performance now available for the first time here, this CD is destined to become a live favourite and one that every fan will want in their collection.

"Time Of Your Life (Good Riddance)" is a 1997 CD single by Green Day, released in Australia via Reprise/Warner Music. It consists of the hit song plus three songs not on the album.

Green Day’s seventh studio album American Idiot was released in September 2004 and has since sold over 23 million copies worldwide, including 9 million in the US. The album is a punk rock opera masterpiece that won the Best Rock Album at the 2005 Grammy Awards©.
