The Watch is an Italian progressive rock band from Milan, originally formed in 1997 under the name 'The Night Watch', and consisted of vocalist Simone Rossetti, guitarist Franceso Zago, bassist Antonio Mauri, keyboardist Giovanni Alessi, and drummer Diego Donadio. In this formation the band released their debut album, Twilight, before the line-up collapsed in 2000 leaving only Rossetti to continue the band under the shortened name 'The Watch'. Their music is inspired by classic progressive rock style of the 1970s and in particular by the music of Genesis. Melody and energy are the main aspects of The Watch music and the live dimension is one of the greatest features of the band.

The band's seventh studio album, three years after their last studio effort (Tracks From The Alps) and after endless touring on both sides of the Atlantic, is simply called Seven and it boldly explores seven lush new sonic and lyrical landscapes as only The Watch can. Each track has its own distinct flavour and stretches the band's sound in new directions whilst maintaining that classic Watch sound. The eighth track is an intimate revisiting of The Hermit, featuring the guitar brilliance of none other than Steve Hackett himself…

With this all-star Cinerama epic, producer/director Stanley Kramer vowed to make "the comedy that would end all comedies." The story begins during a massive traffic jam, caused by reckless driver Smiler Grogan (Jimmy Durante), who, before (literally) kicking the bucket, cryptically tells the assembled drivers that he's buried a fortune in stolen loot, "under the Big W." The various motorists setting out on a mad scramble include a dentist (Sid Caesar) and his wife (Edie Adams); a henpecked husband (Milton Berle) accompanied by his mother-in-law (Ethel Merman) and his beatnik brother-in-law (Dick Shawn); a pair of comedy writers (Buddy Hackett and Mickey Rooney); and a variety of assorted nuts including a slow-wit (Jonathan Winters), a wheeler-dealer (Phil Silvers), and a pair of covetous cabdrivers (Peter Falk and Eddie "Rochester" Anderson). Monitoring every move that the fortune hunters make is a scrupulously honest police detective (Spencer Tracy).

Four CD set celebrating the finest musical sounds of progressive rock music of 1975. Five hours of music featuring tracks by Barclay James Harvest, Baker Gurvitz Army, Be Bop Deluxe, Camel, Caravan, Gentle Giant, Greenslade, Steve Hackett, Peter Hammill, Hatfield & The North, Hawkwind, Steve Hillage, Man, Manfred Mann's Earthband, Nektar, Pfm, Procol Harum, Nektar, Renaissance, Soft Machine, Van Der Graaf Generator, Yes and many more. Ring the Bells and Sing - Progressive Sounds of 1975 gathers together over five hours of music from 1975. Sometimes dismissed in later years by some critics as a year when rock music was failing to progress, this compilation reveals that 1975 was indeed a year where a great deal of excellent, diverse and creative music continued to be produced by artists for an audience for whom the album was the important format and the iconic television series The Old Grey Whistle Test was essential viewing.

This is how traditional Chicago-style jazz sounded in New York during the mid-1940s. When he wasn't brusquely emceeing these bands on-stage at Town Hall, guitarist and organizer Eddie Condon presented this music on the air and in the recording studio. The phonographic evidence, chronologically arranged and carefully documented, makes for enjoyable listening. Three V-Disc sides for the armed forces have Hot Lips Page lined up next to Sterling Bose, Miff Mole and Pee Wee Russell. This interesting blend of musicians from radically different social and ethnic backgrounds is typical of Condon. Lips sings on a nearly four-and-a-half-minute version of the "Uncle Sam Blues," a wry ode to military conscription…
