Haim Women in Music

Haim have released an expanded edition of their Grammy-nominated album Women in Music Pt. III, originally released last spring. The new edition includes a remix of the WIMPIII track “Gasoline” featuring Taylor Swift, and a remix of “3AM” featuring Thundercat.

A customary way for women to make their presence felt in rock music, to adapt the title of Haim’s album Women in Music Pt III, has been to make as loud a racket as possible. Blaring guitars, shouted vocals, walloped drums: stand up as “queens of noise”, as all-woman hard-rockers The Runaways put it in a 1977 song. Drown out the misogynists.

"Days Are Gone" is the highly anticipated debut album from breakout band HAIM. Recorded mostly in HAIM's native Los Angeles, the album sees sisters Este, Danielle and Alana Haim working alongside acclaimed producers Ariel Rechtshaid (Usher, Vampire Weekend) and James Ford (Florence and the Machine, Arctic Monkeys). Days Are Gone features crowd favorites "Falling", "Forever", and "Don't Save Me" as well as title track "Days Are Gone", which was co-written with Kid Harpoon and Jessie Ware.
