Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers was an American animated television series produced by Walt Disney Television Animation. It featured the classic Disney chipmunk characters Chip 'n Dale, with three new friends, as detectives.
The concept began life as a two hour standalone television special, Rescue Rangers: To the Rescue. The series itself began airing on March 5, 1989, often paired in an hour-long show with DuckTales. The last episode aired on November 19, 1990, by which time the series was a part of the then-fledgling Disney Afternoon and continued to air for some time thereafter in its lineup until 1993.
65 episodes were created in total; the opening special To the Rescue was broken up into five half-hour segments and rebroadcast as episodes 14-18.
On November 8, 2005, Disney made their first DVD release of 27 Rescue Rangers episodes

The three movement Martinů work is a legacy of his American wartime years when five symphonies tumbled out in the joyous torrential spate. Those works are irradiated by the dynamics of a scarcely containable excitement typified by the plangent the Fourth Symphony (which I still count the best of the six). Schnittke's concerto turns its face from such joy. He seems to be exploring danker regions and unwelcoming depths. The horror of life and its dark other half are what Schnittke seems to aim at though he also surprises with innocence and calm as at 3.02. Anger, slow moving kaleidoscopic metamorphosis, martellato violence (8.02), phantasmal realms as far removed from Martinů's sunlight as you can go. Scrambling for parallels the closest I can achieve is to pick up Martinů's Concerto for strings, piano and timpani - a work that looked forward towards Second World War.

The second season premiered on September 30, 1960 with "King Nine Will Not Return", Serling's fresh take on the pilot episode "Where Is Everybody?" based on a real-life 1958 news story of the discovery of a crashed World War II B-24 bomber in the Libyan desert.[citation needed] The familiarity of this first story stood in stark contrast to the novelty of the show's new packaging: Bernard Herrmann's stately original theme was replaced by Marius Constant's more jarring and dissonant (and now more-familiar) new guitar-and-bongo theme. The blinking eye was replaced by a more surreal introduction inspired by the new images in Serling's narration (such as "That's the signpost up ahead"), and Serling himself stepped in front of the cameras to present his opening narration, rather than being only a voice-over narrator (as in the first season).
