Hammers + Waves Electric reproduces the lively energy of vintage electric pianos, restored to mint condition and then sampled with innovative robotic automation. The set includes a classic suitcase piano and a warm, reedy electric piano, with various mic positions and cabinets to get the sound just right.

Dulcitone sounds like an elderly celesta, with a quieter and rounder tone. We sampled two different Dulcitones with different piano hammers, cutting-edge technology. The sound comes from tuning forks, which vibrate when struck by felt-covered hammers. We utilized a variation of different hammers.

A unique twist on the piano: Dulciano is a concert grand performed with dulcimer hammers. With a bright and beautifully evocative sound, carefully programmed responsive playability, and a range of customisation and sonic control to fit any musical style.

A Kontakt sample-library that expands toy piano’s magical timbres far beyond its curiosity appeal. Performed with sensitivity, grace and top-of-the-line equipment, and sampled with upto 15 velocity layers plus round-robins.

We recorded the finest instruments on the planet for this suite of keyboards for professional keyboardists and composers. The Fazioli 10ft grand was recorded in a Studio Bau:ton designed studio, CounterPoint Studios in SLC, Utah. We recorded this magnificent instrument in surround with 11 channels of mics.

Production Grand Gold Edition is a high-quality premium piano sample library for NI Kontakt 4.2, Kontakt 5 and above, consisting of eight microphone perspectives and over 42,800 samples of a Yamaha C7 grand piano recorded in a world-class recording studio. Production Grand Gold is the downloadable “Gold Edition” from the larger Production Grand.

At 9', the Steinway D is considered by many the pinnacle of pianos. The instrument we sampled is equipped with a custom system for re-performance, developed by Zenph. That's how we recorded our samples so precisely!

Starting with one of the finest cinematic pianos in the world, Heavyocity then pushed the grandest of grand pianos even further, exploring new ways of evoking sound from this nine-foot frame. First, capturing several prepared performances in intricate detail (brushes, hammers, ebows, chains, and twine) and then, developing an all-new engine to bring these extraordinary sounds to life.
