Robert Dethier admet avoir enseveli et camouflé pendant trop d’années ses origines « Je ne suis ni blanc ni indien. Ma recherche identitaire passe désormais par ma musique. » , Robert Dethier se tourne vers des rythmes plus proches de sa nature natale: « Je viens du nord, du Lac Labelle où les montagnes et les lacs m’ont vu grandir. »Depuis qu’il a commencé à jouer de la batterie à l’âge de trois ans et fait siens les rythmes amérindiens et sa culture, Robert Dethier a développé une véritable passion pour la musique.

From opener ‘Boneshaker’ to closer ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll For Life’, a song held together with safety pins an’ sweat, Airbourne take us on a (wooden) rollercoaster ride devoid of anything that might slow the pace or stop the heart from pumping. With ‘Weapon Of War’ they touch on territory that demands a more reflective approach, but this does nothing to make the rock less potent, quite the opposite.
