Nicholas Urfe, a young British graduate, runs away from his monotonous life to take up a teaching post on the small Greek island of Phraxos. There he meets the enigmatic figure of Maurice Conchis and slowly gets drawn into a world full of strange encounters and psychological tricks on Conchis' estate at Bourani.

Jack Regan is a slobbish, old style cop whose unsubtle methods usually get results, to the annoyance of internal affairs officer Lewis, who would be even more annoyed if he knew that Regan was having an affair with his young wife, policewoman Nancy.

Christopher Robin is a 2018 American adventure comedy-drama film, based on A. A. Milne’s book Winnie-the-Pooh and is a live-action adaptation of the Disney franchise of the same name. The film written by Tom McCarthy, Alex Ross Perry, and Allison Schroeder, directed by Marc Forster, stars Ewan McGregor and Hayley Atwell.

Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for the family drama Christopher Robin. The album features the film’s original score composed by Geoff Zanelli (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Disturbia) & Jon Brion (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Magnolia). Also included are three original songs written by Richard Sherman. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 3 and will be available to download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Christopher Robin is directed by Marc Forster and stars Ewan McGregor, Hayley Atwell, Bronte Carmichael, Mark Gatiss, Jim Cummings, Chris O’Dowd, Brad Garrett, Toby Jones, Nick Mohammed, Peter Capaldi and Sophie Okonedo. The movie tells the story of Robin, the little boy from the Winnie the Pooh series, who is now all-grown-up and lost all sense of imagination. The drama is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Walt Disney Pictures.

Nico Muhly has recently recorded his score for the upcoming BBC and Starz limited series Howards End. The show is developed by Kenneth Lonergan (Manchester By the Sea, You Can Count On Me) based on the classic E.M. Forster novel and stars Hayley Atwell, Matthew Macfadyen, Julia Ormond, Philippa Coulthard, Joseph Quinn, Rosalind Eleazar, Tracey Ullman and Alex Lawther. The 4-parter explores the changing landscape of social and class divisions in turn of the century England through the prism of three families. Hettie Macdonald (Beautiful Thing) is directing all episodes. Colin Callender (Wolf Hall), Joshua D. Maurer (The Hoax), Alixandre Witlin & David A. Stern (The Last Tycoon), Sophie Gardiner, Scott Huff (The Missing) and Lucy Richer are executive producing the project.
