It all started with a small group of Italian DJs who noticed the innovativeness of US house and started making music, DJing, and even distributing music themselves…and IRMA Records was born. unfold. Yes, IRMA in the early 90's was a treasure trove of Italo house tracks that are still club classics today. It continues to be sampled in many house songs. This work contains many such Italo house classics, and also includes super rare tracks on CD for the first time!!

The Milk & Sugar team quickly became an international brand synonymous with high-quality dance music and a special flair melding funk, disco and house styles. Its easy to see and hear how the twenty-eight tracks included here have influenced a whole new generation of bourgeoning DJ producers. The very first time we came up with our idea about a classic compilation in our label office everybody got really excited, says Milk & Sugar. Pianos have featured in house music since day one. There's just something about the combination of looping piano chords and a skipping house groove which works so well.
