Superman & Lois is an American superhero drama television series developed for The CW by Todd Helbing and Greg Berlanti, based on the DC Comics characters Superman and Lois Lane, created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The series premiered on February 23, 2021. Superman & Lois was renewed for a second season in March 2021 and is scheduled to premiere in early 2022 on The CW.

Willie Mae 'Big Mama' Thornton was the first artist to record the then little known song written by two Los Angeles based teenagers, Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, 'Hound Dog'. The song was the only chart record 'Big Mama' enjoyed and of course it went on to be recorded by a young lad called Elvis Presley who took the track to No. 1 on the pop charts for 11 weeks. To celebrate 21 years since the formation of Eskimo Joe, the past 12 months has seen the platinum-selling band from Western Australia reissuing their back catalogue in new formats. After reissuing coloured vinyl and special edition CDs for 'Girl,' 'Ghosts Of The Past' and 'Inshalla' in 2018, Eskimo Joe now announce the latest album to be given the deluxe treatment will be 'Black Fingernails Red Wine.' Eskimo Joe's third studio album 'Black Fingernails, Red Wine' was released in 2006 and went to number one on the ARIA Album Chart. It spent 62 weeks in the ARIA top 50 albums chart, won four ARIA awards and has sold four times platinum (more than 300,000 copies in Australia alone).

Upon his return to the stage, Patrick Wagner of noise rock band Gewalt talks about the cruelty of hipster coffee and the solidarity that helped overcome his fears. In the 1990s Patrick Wagner had hit the jackpot. His indie label Kitty-Yo, home to Peaches and Chilly Gonzales, was a worldwide success, and his noise rock band Surrogat was on course to stardom as well. But it wasn’t meant to last. In 2003 he split with Surrogat and Kitty-Yo folded three years later. When his attempt at running another label, Louisville Records, failed in 2010, Wagner disappeared from the music scene entirely. He started managing a youth football team and brought the FuckUp Nights to Berlin, encouraging people to talk about their fears and business failures. Luckily for us, Wagner finally returned to the stage together with Helen Henfling and Yelka Wehmeier in the guise of Gewalt. We talked to Wagner before the “violent” noise rock trio’s not-so-regular gig at Kunstverein Neukölln on June 17.
