Hozier

Hozier has announced details of his next EP, titled Eat Your Young, which will arrive on his birthday next month. The record will be the Irish musician’s first EP since his Spotify Singles release in 2019 and first non-single release since his second album Wasteland Baby! arrived that same year. Eat Your Young will be released digitally on March 17 – both Hozier’s birthday and St. Patrick’s Day – and will feature three songs. The tracklist will include the title track, “All Things End,” and “Through Me (The Flood).”

Unreal Unearth is the incredible third album by Hozier. The peerless singer-songwriter recorded this remarkable record with a stellar cast of producers including Bekon (Kendrick Lamar, Drake), Jennifer Decilveo (Miley Cyrus, Bat For Lashes), and Jeff Gitelman (The Weeknd, H.E.R.). The sounds, style and influences throughout the record range from folk, to rock, to blues, to soul, to anthemic pop, and all that’s in between.

Wasteland, Baby! is the highly anticipated sophomore album singer-songwriter Hozier. The 14 track album was preceded by the September, 2018 release of Hozier's 4-track EP, Nina Cried Power. The track Nina Cried Power' is also included on Wasteland, Baby! and features vocals from multi-Grammy Award-winning artist and performer Mavis Staples and instrumentation by renowned Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Booker T. Jones. The track was highlighted as one of Barack Obama's favorite songs of 2018. The album also includes the singles 'Movement' and 'Almost (Sweet Music).' Wasteland, Baby! is the follow up LP to Hozier's 2014 critically acclaimed self-titled debut album. With a phenomenal reception by critics worldwide, the album was also a commercial success, reaching Top 10 chart positions in Ireland, UK, United States, Canada, Australia, Denmark, and Greece. The album included this first worldwide hit, 'Take Me To Church,' that a nomination for Song of the Year and the 2015 Grammy Awards.

It's not often that you stumble across a songwriter whose lyrics both sound and read like poetry. When those lyrics are set to music that balances burning indignation with lilting tenderness, and delivered in a voice imbued with the spiritual passion and yearning of gospel and the blues, you figure you've chanced upon something special. And so it is with 23-year-old Andrew Hozier-Byrne, an Irish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from County Wicklow who goes by the name of Hozier.
