Ice One

This book takes as its subject the physics of ice: the properties of the material itself and the ways in which these properties are interpreted in terms of water molecules and crystalline structure. The book is written for professional scientists and engineers, and is the only currently available book of its kind. It describes the physical properties of ice, and shows their relevance to the forms of ice found on Earth.

I created the name Lafayette Afro Rock Band. I had some experience in the domain and knew that we needed a complicated name in order for it to be registered. Anyway, I got the idea for this name using Lafayette Hudson’s first name the bassist of the group and called him explaining that there was now a group called the Lafayette Afro Rock Band. We made Soul Makossa, and Malik right after. The recordings of the Lafayette Afro Rock Band and Ice have been compiled on a new release, dropping October 28 on Manifesto Records.
