The Guru is the 1969 soundtrack to a film by director James Ivory, with music by Ustad Vilayat Khan. Khan is joined by Ustad Imrat Khan on surbahar and sitar, Ustad Shakoor Khan on sarangi and Pandit Shanta Prasad on tabla. Actor Michael York, who stars in the film, does vocals in "Tom's Boat Song" while Ustad Zinda Hasan Khan and Ustad Fayez Ahmed Khan contribute their voices to "Concert in the Haunted Palace (Rag Malkauns)". This was released by RCA/Victor and is a vinyl rip.
