Fresh from winning the Best Serialized Story 1999 Eisner Award for Grasscutter, Stan Sakai returns with a new Usagi Yojimbo collection featuring six tales of the ronin rabbit's journeys and adventures in feudal Japan. "My Father's Swords" retells an encounter with a young samurai who follows in-and is followed by-the footsteps of his father's warrior heritage. In "The Demon Flute," a village is plagued by a music-playing supernatural killer. Usagi recounts a classic Japanese folk tale in "Momo-Usagi-Taro." Two Tokugawa-era whodunits play out in "The Hair Pin Murders" and Taméshigiri," a pair of Inspector Ishida mysteries. Usagi becomes entangled in a conspiracy to overthrow a lord's throne in "The Courtesan." Memory, mystery, and treachery intermingle to form Grey Shadows.

is a European comic book series republished in the US by Archaia Press, just like and the cycles. It was originally planned for seven issues but proved to be so popular they released an issue #8 in April of 2010 and it seems it is now an ongoing. This comic book series is written by Jean-Pierre Pécau, and the rotating artists are Igor Kordey, Goran Sudžuka, Geto, and Leo Pilipovic; Carole Beau colors it (with some help from Isabelle Rabarot), Edward Gauvin translates it, and Marshall Dillon letters it (with some help from Joyce El Hayek and Scott Newman). Essentially the story is this: 5000 years ago, an old man gives four runestones to four children to keep them from falling into the wrong hands (their village is being pillaged). The runes are: the Chalice, the Lance, the Sword, and the Shield. The children who receive them are, respectively, Dyo, Reka, Aker, and Erlin. The shaman implores them never to use the runes together and never let them rule their hearts, but once he dies, the children go on their own separate ways, plotting and scheming to collect all four runestones and posess ultimate power, down through the ages--the rune-holders, or archons, as they're called, seemingly given immortality by the runes. Intended for readers because of adult content.

Once upon a time… two brothers decided to collect and write down all the folk tales and bedtime stories parents told their children. Believing they were doing this for the benefit of generations to come, the brothers soon realized the stories were filled with all manner of grisly torture and torment. But this was GOOD, the brothers knew - for these were cautionary tales, and the lessons to be learned by their telling could not be stressed too strongly. The Brothers Grimm published their tales, and all was good in the world…

Nancy In Hell #1-4 (of 4) Complete  Comics

Nancy is a trashy/sexy scream-queen who is trapped in Hell. She is also a strong, take-matters-into-her-own-hands character, so all is not lost on female readers. Unlike many comics that have sexy women as their primary calling card, Nancy in Hell actually has a decent story to go with it. Basically that there is no division between heaven and hell…it’s all hell, but by being strong, your spirit can retain some of its sense of self in the hellish wastelands but it must continually fight off zombies, hellhounds and the like or suffer true death. But, just as you're thinking there is nothing but random, mind-less enemies to fight, a true villain and an unlikely ally show up that make things more interesting... And then there's the artwork, featuring a scantily-clad Nancy, of course. All high-quality Minutemen scans.
