Having rescheduled their March and April tour dates due to the ongoing Covid-19 emergency, elbow have brought forward the release of ‘Live at The Ritz – An Acoustic Performance’. Recorded in October 2019 in the intimate surroundings of The Ritz in Manchester, the album includes acoustic versions of tracks from ‘Giants of All Sizes’ alongside older favourites.

The Beta Band were a Scottish musical group formed in 1996. They were critically acclaimed and have achieved a cult status. Their style was described as being "folktronica", a blend of folk, Scottish, electronic, rock, trip hop, and experimental jamming. The acclaimed Scottish band released just three albums and three EPs between 1996 and 2004 (when they disbanded) and it’s those three EPs – Champion Versions, The Patty Patty Sound and Los Amigos Del Beta Bandidos – that were brought together to form their first ‘album’.

The Charlatans‘ second album Between 10th and 11th will be reissued in July as a deluxe two-CD set and a double vinyl pressing. The 1992 album features UK top 20 single ‘Weirdo’ (which also did well in the US) and further 45s ‘Tremolo Song’ and ‘I Don’t Want To See The Sights’. The bonus content on the reissue is remastered tracks from the live show from Chicago in 1991, known as Isolation 21.2.91.

Mystery Jets release their sixth studio album A Billion Heartbeats. By turns tender and fierce, abstract and full of classic rock energy, A Billion Heartbeats achieves a balance of passion, fear and hope. Amid the colourful cavalcade of rich harmonies, heavy guitars and rallying cries, the album’s essential message - about personal responsibility, and the power in becoming engaged. In a sense, it's not just their "state of the nation” record but their “state of a generation” record too.

The Magic Gang release their buoyant new album Death Of The Party. The album was recorded in Atlanta with the Grammy-winning producer Ben H. Allen (Deerhunter, Animal Collective, Gnarls Barkley), whose work in alternative and pop matches for band’s own blend of genres. The quartet approached the album with two objectives in mind. They aimed to broaden the scope of their harmony-rich, melodically focused pop. And inspired by Lou Reed, Alex Turner and especially Jonathan Richman they wanted to take a more observational lyrical approach. The stories they tell reflect the experiences of many of their early-twentysomething contemporaries. They explore anxieties about money, relationships and the future, but also the fun moments that they use to escape from such issues.

Recorded at the start of the band’s Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino tour, Arctic Monkeys - Live At The Royal Albert Hall, features 20 of the band’s finest moments to date.

Doves release their fifth long player The Universal Want on Virgin EMI. On lead track Prisoners Doves forces attention upon itself, not least with the poignancy of Goodwin’s repeated greeting to ‘old friends’, but as an unstoppable, driving tale of caution in a world of unending desire. Produced by Doves with Dan Austin and recorded at the band’s own Frank Bough Sound III studios in North West England, the high heat of its Northern Soul beat is fanned by wiry guitar breaks and cuts of ethereal noise contorting beneath layers of stacked vocals. A statuesque musical statement, Prisoners guides Doves’ second chapter to a peak now within touching distance, the lyrics contrasting to express unease with modern ills.

2020 live EP release. To commemorate the second anniversary of their fourth studio album Delta, Mumford & Sons is sharing the Delta Tour EP featuring live performances from the Delta World Tour.

Passenger is the stage name of Michael Rosenberg. Once the name of his band, Michael Rosenberg opted to retain the name after the dissolution of the band after only one album (Wicked Man’s Rest – 2007). Pursuing a solo career, Michael Rosenberg (as Passenger) released Wide Eyes Blind Love in 2009. By the time of his third solo album, Passenger was beginning to make his mark on the listening and growing fanbase. Flight of The Crow (2010) gave Australian fans a reason to be happy. The charts certified the album Gold. With that influence and the release of the popular hit song, “Let Her Go”, Passenger‘s fourth album, All The Little Lights exploded with interest and presented Michael Rosenberg with international success. On January 8 of 2021, Passenger will release his new album, Songs For The Drunk and Broken Hearted. It will be delivered with a slate of ten brand new compositions. The album will be released via Nettwerk Records in the US market. It follows closely on the heels of the digital only release of Passenger‘s previous album, Patchwork, which was issued on July 10 of 2020.
