There may be no better place to hear how both punk and prog rock informed the New Wave of British Heavy Metal than Iron Maiden's self-titled debut. Often overlooked and overshadowed by the glorious Bruce Dickinson years, it's easy to forget that Iron Maiden was itself a game-changer when it appeared on the scene in 1980…
The heavy, psychedelic acid rock of Iron Butterfly may seem dated to some today, but the group was one of the first hard rock bands to receive extensive radio airplay, and their best-known song, the 17-minute epic "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida," established that more extended compositions were viable entries in the radio marketplace, paving the way for progressive AOR…
As we all know, Iron Maiden is one of the essential names in Heavy Metal. As usual in our successful collection The Many Faces, we submerge ourselves to explore the lesser known works of the band. You will be able to enjoy the work of bassist Steve Harris as producer of the band Slammer. You’ll also hear Stratus, drummer’s Clive Burr band after leaving Maiden. Also included are the big hits of the first two albums of the band (their favorites for many fans) with the voice of Paul Di’Anno, the original singer. All these rarities and more, complete this important album not only for Iron Maiden fans, but also for all hard-rock music lovers. With extensive liner notes, remastered sound and beautiful cover art, The Many Faces Of Iron Maiden is an album to collect…and remember that this won’t be available on streaming platforms.

Iron Duke is a Danish 1970's symphonic rock band. The 1974 debut album First Salvo line up was: Tommy Hansen, Jens Olesen, Hans Resen and Claus Sarup. The music of Iron Duke is keyboard oriented from the 70's and like ELP, they re-arrange classical songs with their first album in 1974. The second album was released in 1977 and contains rock versions of Danish songs. The song "Rockin Edward" adapted from "Per Gynt suite" and from the first album is probably the best one. They recorded a song for the benefit EP Greenpeace Sange Med in 1983.

Innocent as it may seem today, the name Bum was causing them a lot of problems, with many promoters and clubs refusing to book them as it was seen to be "offensive". Having witnessed Cream perform live in their school hall in 1966, they were inspired enough to get working on a band of their own. They paid their dues initially as Stevenson’s Blues Department, playing regularly as main support to Fleetwood Mac and Jethro Tull amongst others…
