Two CDs. In the late Sixties, the major UK labels - keen to stay abreast of the times without quite understanding what was going on - signed a number of bands that combined the adventurism and surrealism of psychedelia with a concise, radio-friendly pop sensibility. One or two went on to fame and fortune, but the majority failed to find the hit single that would have given them the chance to build and sustain a career. Kent outfit Jason Crest are one of the most admired of those bands, issuing a handful of singles while also recording a batch of tracks - 'King Of The Castle', 'Charge Of The Light Brigade', 'My House Is Burning' and others - that were arguably even more commercial and accomplished but which, for some unfathomable reason, were rejected by the men in suits.

The music is really very beautiful and tender and creates the special bitter-sweet atmosphere of the film. After all these years the tunes and the songs of this soundtrack remain fresh and alive. Stavros Xarhakos has done his miracle once more. Enjoy a small masterpiece.

Documentary about British women from a range of backgrounds and ages who found love while on holiday. Anne, Dawn and Jean all fell for Greek men on the island of Symi at different times. Dawn married local man Panormitis Karagiannis and now lives the traditional life of a Greek wife. Maddison, Fleur and Ruth had similar experiences with local men in Turkey. Maddison is preparing for her wedding to Isa Oksuz in Datca. The pair met when she was a children's rep and he was a windsurfing instructor. At the age of 70, Dorothy married Rafaa, a 21-year-old lad from Tunisia. But after Rafaa was refused entry into Britain, he decided to go to work in Saudi Arabia. This effectively spelt the end of their marriage and Dorothy was heartbroken. Some of the other relationships resulted in marriages that endure up to the present day. Others failed to last the course. What unites all the women interviewed here is that not one of them says she has any regrets.
