There is no question that Willie Nelson is one of the most influential singer-songwriters the world of music has ever seen. In order to commemorate the iconic artists’ legacy, many of the music industry’s powerhouses have come together to pay tribute in a special from the fine folks at A&E appropriately titled Willie Nelson: American Outlaw.The special will focus on performances from the concert that took place in January of 2019 called Willie: Life & Songs Of An American Outlaw, A Willie Nelson All-Star Concert Celebration. This event featured live musical tributes from several musicians, and the A&E special will show 20 never before televised performances from that ordeal.There will also be behind the scenes footage and exclusive interviews. Overall it will honor Nelsons’ 70-year career and highlight his many accomplishments, including his 200+ albums and other prominent contributions. A&E has pulled out all the stops for this epic endeavor, making this one event fans will not want to miss.

In 2017, many of country’s biggest and most iconic stars came together for a special tribute concert in honor of the late Merle Haggard. The group celebrated the legend’s long list of music and now, fans can bring the live concert home.Media company Blackbird Presents has revealed plans to bring the concert special, Sing Me Back Home: The Music Of Merle Haggard, to CD and DVD on December 11, 2020. Fans will be treated to a multi-disc package, featuring 29 performances from artists including Alabama, Ben Haggard, Billy F Gibbons, Bobby Bare, Buddy Miller, Chris Janson, Connie Smith, Dierks Bentley, Hank Williams Jr., Jake Owen, Jamey Johnson, John Anderson, John Mellencamp, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Richards, Kenny Chesney, Aaron Lewis, Loretta Lynn, Lucinda Williams, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Miranda Lambert, Rodney Crowell, Ronnie Dunn, Sheryl Crow, Tanya Tucker, The Avett Brothers, Toby Keith, Warren Haynes, and Willie Nelson.

'God's Problem Child' is Willie s first album to debut all-new songs since 'Band of Brothers' in 2014. It includes 13 new songs, including seven recently written by Willie and Buddy Cannon, his longtime collaborator and producer. The album's title track, penned by Jamey Johnson and Tony Joe White, includes vocals by both writers and the legendary Leon Russell (on what may be Russell's very last recording). Closing the album is "He Won't Ever Be Gone," a song written by Gary Nicholson that pays tribute to Willie's outlaw country comrade, Merle Haggard.

'Strange Angels: In Flight With Elmore James' brings together a group of amazing artists to pay tribute to the the legendary Elmore James in this 13 song collection of his classic blues standards. Warren Haynes, Billy Gibbons and Mickey Raphael feature on a rendition of "Mean Mistreatin' Mama". Crooner Tom Jones lends his voice to "Done Somebody Wrong".
