Lemon Popsicle is an Israeli film directed by Boaz Davidson and was released in 1978. It was an immediate hit in Israel and has since acquired cult status and spawned eight sequels. The soundtrack contains a nice balance of sentimental songs such as Brian Hyland's 'Sealed With A Kiss' and out-and-out rockers like Little Richard's 'Tutti Frutti', giving us an intriguing glimpse into the way rock'n'roll was appreciated in other parts of the world at that time.

Dick Dale's Checkered Flag is heavy with white-hot Dale instrumentals ("Night Rider," "Ho-Dad Machine") and vocal car tunes from the pens of pop's songwriters (Gary Usher, Gary Paxton, Carol Connors).
