Well known for his work stemming from numerous collaborations with pianist Oscar Peterson and vocalist Ella Fitzgerald, Pass is often esteemed as one of the most notable jazz guitarists of the 20th century. This 4CD collection features eight original Joe Pass albums on which he performed as leader, all in re-mastered editions, and all from Joe's 'golden years' - the period 1962 to 1966. Recorded when the great man was signed exclusively to The Pacific Jazz label, and when he was at the pinnacle of his career, this collection serves as a fine starting point for beginners to this maverick jazz man's art, and as a fine reminder to those already somewhat versed.

Sanna Ruohoniemi stands out on the jazz scene, both in terms of compositions and radiance. Her ability to use her voice is enviable; the breadth of her creation is exceptionally free and fluid. The artist and composer Ruohoniemi’s third album Let Everything Happen continues in the same vein as Start from Nothing, which was praised, among others, by the Europe Jazz Media Chart as one of the best music releases in Europe in November 2018.

The Jamboree once again hosts the premiere of a reference from the famous record collection ‘Joan Chamorro presents…’, in which figures from the categories of Andrea Motis, Joan Mar Sauqué have recorded their first works, Rita Payés, Eva Fernández, Alba Armengou, Elia Bastida and a long et cetera. Disc number 20 in this series is dedicated to Koldo Munné, saxophonist, singer and composer who has been part of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band for ten years. At the Jamboree, Munné and Chamorro will have top musicians: Josep Traver, Marc Martín and Arnau Julià, apart from some surprises that will make this concert a very special evening.

Every now and again an album appears as if from nowhere that immediately you get, and more importantly gets you. Well, that now and again has arrived in the shape of Look for the Silver Lining by Stella Bass, and album that spoke volumes to me upon first hearing it and my enthusiasm has not diminished after countless hearings.

Mr. Inevitable is a collection of compositions expressing the peaks and valleys of life through music. Each song represents an emotional theme depicting various tropes of the universal human experience. They are written and performed through the lens of my own personal perspectives and the collective interpretations of the musicians on the album.
