Those are the qualities that have steered Zitos career since the beginning and continue to define every effort hes offered since. Recorded at his home in Huntsville, Ontario, on the shore of its namesake lake, Bittern Lake represents Stroud’s favorite way of making music: “live off the floor, no overdubs, everybody in one room, all at one time. The musicians I bring along, they just fall in love with the process.” Those musicians on Bittern Lake include members of Stroud’s longtime backing band, the Campfire Kings, as well as singer-songwriters Oh Susanna and Justin Rutledge, ace session drummer Tony Braunagel (Bonnie Raitt, Taj Mahal) and Cuban-Canadian guitar wizard Elmer Ferrer.

Blues musician Ryan Perry announces the release of his solo debut, High Risk, Low Reward, via Ruf Records March 13, 2020.
We first met Ryan Perry as a teenage phenomenon, when he hijacked 2007’s International Blues Challenge in Memphis with his Homemade Jamz Blues Band, and announced his talent for sharp storytelling, stinging guitar and soulful vocals. This charismatic bandleader’s talents have only grown over the last decade, and following 2020’s solo debut on Ruf Records, Ryan is the finished article, armed with a setlist to raise the roof. After leaving the Royal Southern Brotherhood in 2014 and issuing Ragged & Dirty, his own extended meditation on Chicago blues, guitarist/songwriter Devon Allman spent time playing with his father's road band and guested on Jeremiah Johnson's excellent Grind the same year. His solo re-emergence on Ride or Die is an exercise in spiritual and musical maturity. He plays guitar and bass, and provides passionate lead and backing vocals. He also produced some tracks solo and others with longtime compadre Tom Hambridge – who mixed and mastered it and played drums. Guitarist Tyler Stokes, bassist Steve Duerst, and keyboardist Kevin McKendree are also aboard, with saxophonist Ron Holloway and violinist Bobby Yang.

Marin Alsop Née à Manhattan à New York le 16 octobre 1956, enfant unique d’une mère violoncelliste et d’un père violoniste, la chef d'orchestre américaine Marin Alsop a très vite dessiné son avenir. C’est en effet à l’âge de neuf ans, en 1965, alors qu’elle est entrée un an auparavant au Conservatoire de Peabody à Baltimore, que Marin Alsop décide qu’elle sera chef d’orchestre, à l'issue d'un concert de Leonard Bernstein avec le Philharmonique de New York où son père et sa mère l’avaient emmenée.
