"Into the Fire" is the 5th studio album by the Canadian rock singer Bryan Adams. It was released on 30 March 1987 by A&M Records, and the follow up album to the chart topping "Reckless" (1984). "Into the Fire" peaked at #7 on the US Billboard 200 chart and reached equally high positions in charts worldwide. The album was recorded at Adams' home in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Six singles were released from the album: "Heat of the Night", "Hearts on Fire", "Victim of Love", "Only the Strong Survive", "Into the Fire" and "Another Day". The cover photographs were taken by the Dutch photographer/director Anton Corbijn on the river Thames in East London, England.

In 1960, a group of social outcasts who are bullied by a gang of greasers lead by Henry Bowers are also tormented by an evil demon who can shapeshift into a clown and feed on children's fears and kill them. After defeating the demonic clown as kids, it resurfaces 30 years later and they must finish it off as adults once again.

Released in 1988, "Amnesia" is the second album Richard Thompson recorded in Los Angeles with producer and keyboardist Mitchell Froom. Backing Thompson's characteristic vocals and stunning fretwork are some of the finest musicians in the industry, including bassists Tony Levin and Jerry Scheff and drummers Mickey Curry and Jim Keltner.
