Le jeune Simenon, ou Sim, est dès ses 15 ans un brillant journaliste à " La Gazette de Liège". Déjà, il nourrit deux passions : l'écriture et les femmes.
Il monte à Paris où il côtoie vite artistes et écrivains du Montparnasse nocturne et tombe amoureux de Joséphine Baker.
