Lors d'une mission de lutte contre la pêche illégale, au large de Malte, le drone révolutionnaire à voilure tournante S-150 Camcopter de la société autrichienne Schiebel, embarqué à bord du patrouilleur français "L'Adroit" a soudainement perdu le contrôle des expérimentateurs du détachement "drones" du CEPA. Le pacha de l'équipage, le capitaine de frégate Baily, voit avec horreur le drone foncer sur les pêcheurs clandestins et, de son rotor, causer dégâts et morts humaines avant d'exploser. Dans ce tome, "Double K" va se "faire la main" en prenant le contrôle de centaines de drones de par le monde et tenter de les diriger contre des cibles stratégiques. Il espère ainsi mieux comprendre les systèmes de communication militaires afin de les utiliser, dans le tome 2, pour prendre le contrôle du satellite SES-8 à la fin du tome 1". La mission de la Flottille 66 va être triple : 1. tester le "SynapsE", le nouvel avion invisible et hypersonique de l'aéronavale française, 2. intercepter et détruire les drones dont "Double K" a pris le contrôle et 3. Trouver la planque de "Double K" et la détruire avant que "Double K" se soit aperçu qu'il avait été repéré, c'est-à-dire de façon invisible et ultra-rapide, comme seul le permet le "SynapsE". La bataille centrale sera un combat aérien entre les deux Rafale de Ming-Yue et d'Alf, aidés du "SynapsE", et une vingtaine de drones S-150 à voilure tournante dont "Double K" est parvenu à prendre le contrôle.

Every once and a while a book comes along that blows my expectations out of the water, this is one of those books. A one-shot story, Ataque del M.O.D.O.K. has a simple premise: Sue and Reed Richards go on vacation to Puerto Rico where, with the help of a local hero, they thwart M.O.D.O.K. and his A.I.M. trained monkey army. Hitting the exact tone necessary for such a silly story, this book balances its comedy with a fair amount of action and drama. While the story hits all the right notes, it is actually the art that steals the show. Even if there were no words on the page, this book would still be worth picking up solely for Juan Doe's incredible artwork. I have been impressed by each and every comic book and comic book cover that he has put out with Marvel and this issue is no exception. I could go on and on and on about the perfection of the style, but I will just leave it up to you to check out the comic and see for yourself. Do yourself a favor and pick this book up immediately! --
