"Hopes And Fears" is the debut album from British band Keane. Originally released in 2004, the 2009 2-CD "deluxe edition" features a second CD of bonus material. There is so much material available from this era of the band a third CD could have been included, but fans will be more than pleased with this expanded release, which compiles all of the band's pre-major label single tracks in one place. In addition, there are choice live radio performances, several charity singles, and the most sought-after Keane track, "A Heart To Hold You," making its official debut on this collection. What is missing are the whole of the major label single CD bonus tracks (save for one, "Snowed Under"). Those seven tracks could have spilled onto a third CD along with several other outtakes, alternate versions and a multitude of TV appearances that could have been culled from.
