Nobody Loves You More is Kim Deal’s debut album, although it’s technically not her first release under her own name – she self- released a 5-part, 10-song 7” vinyl series in 2013, and beyond that, she’s earned her stripes as early as the late 80s with bands Pixies and The Breeders. The long-awaited record’s creation began with its oldest songs, “Are You Mine?” and “Wish I Was,” which were written and recorded in 2011, and included in 2013 vinyl series, shortly after Deal concluded Pixies’ ‘Lost Cities Tour’ and relocated to L.A. In the years since, the record took shape in pieces, with a variety of collaborators including Breeders past and present (Mando Lopez, Kelley Deal, Jim Macpherson, and Britt Walford), and new friends like Jack Lawrence (The Greenhorns) and Savages’ Fay Milton and Ayse Hassan. Tracked over the last several years, the record’s last recording was helmed by iconic engineer and Deal’s close friend Steve Albini, tracking “A Good Time Pushed” with Jim and Kelley in November 2022.

On 22 November 2024, Kim Deal will release her new album, Nobody Loves You More. Featuring recent single ‘Coast’, the collection of 11 songs is the Dayton, Ohio resident’s first full-length album under her own name.

The expanded 20th anniversary edition of the Breeders' breakthrough affirms its status as an alt-rock classic. The set includes a 1994 live show and a disc of rarities and demos that put the finished product in context. Meanwhile, the EPs from the period show off the wide stylistic range of everything the Breeders could do well.

Every time an old and much-missed music vanguard is returning, especially when it is armed with new music to boot, the arrival becomes a cause for celebration. Just like how stout enthusiasts of Alternative Rock music should be feeling excited for the resurgence of The Breeders’ classic lineup of Kim Deal (lead vocals, guitar), Josephine Wiggs (bass, vocals), Jim Macpherson (drums, percussion), and Kelley Deal (lead guitar, vocals), with also a new album in tow. With "All Nerve’s" twists and turns, signals and noises, and trademark aural dynamics, The Breeders are definitely back. Despite the ’90s Alternative Rock sonic regalia that they wear like a badge of honor, they are also equally proud to adorn themselves with the current paraphernalia of the genre that they helped propel quarter of a century ago.

Pacer is an album released in October 1995 by the Amps, Kim Deal's side project from her group the Breeders, who took a break from playing together beginning in late 1994. Deal recruited two new musicians and named the group the Amps. The band recorded Pacer at several studios in the USA and in Ireland, with different engineers each time, including Steve Albini, Bryce Goggin, and John Agnello. The album received mixed reviews, ranging from highly enthusiastic to quite dismissive. Despite radio airplay for its single, "Tipp City", Pacer did not sell well. The Amps toured in 1995 and 1996 with groups such as Sonic Youth, Guided By Voices, and Foo Fighters. In 1996, Deal changed the band's name back to the Breeders, making Pacer the Amps' only album.

When guitarist, improviser and composer Kim Myhr had an opportunity to collaborate with the never-stagnant Trondheim Jazz Orchestra for the second time, he invited Jenny Hval to join him. He had known her for several years and had wanted for a long time to work together with her.

The Pixies are an American alternative rock band that formed in Boston in 1986. The group disbanded in 1993. The band's style of alternative rock music is heavily influenced by punk and indie rock, and while highly melodic, is capable of being abrasive at the same time. Come On Pilgrim is the debut mini-LP released in September 1987 by British independent record label 4AD.
