I've been recording since the early 1980s, and I think this "Best Of" album is truly my best work as of 2019. I've been lucky enough to work with first rate instrumentalists who've elevated my work, along with recording engineers, producers and mastering engineers who have helped me dig deeper. I hope this music will make you laugh and think and the extensive liner notes at my website will introduce you to many of the musicians I've gotten to work with over the past years. The album is dedicated to Eileen and Allan Pepper. Allan owned "The Bottom Line" for 30 years NYC's premiere live music club. I sure hope he and Eileen like it. Many of the songs came to life for the first time on his stage I'm grateful for his encouragement and support over the years.

It offers fans of the early Pink Floyd a chance to do something for the first time in the CD era (and for the first time since the year 1967) - immerse themselves, up to the neck at least (if not quite to the top of the head) in the Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd sound.
