'The Asylum Albums (1972-1975)', the next instalment in the Joni Mitchell archive series, explores the beginning of that prolific era. The collection features newly remastered versions of 'For the Roses' (1972), 'Court and Spark' (1974), the double live album 'Miles of Aisles' (1974), and 'The Hissing of Summer Lawns' (1975). All four were remastered by Bernie Grundman.

Friedrich Guida was born in Vienna on May 16, 1930. He began his musical education at the Grossmann Conservatory and subsequently took private lessons from Felix Pazofsky. From 1942 to 1947 he studied piano at the Vienna Academy of Music under Bruno Seidlhofer and Music Theory and Com position under Joseph Marx . He gave his first public performance in 1944 and, two years later when just 16 years old, won the Geneva International Music Competition. Starting after the Second World War, as a 20-year-old, Guida established himself as a piano soloist with an excel I ent international reputation and even performed at Carnegie HalI in New York City in 1950.

Paul McCartney is to release a massive seven-inch singles vinyl box set next month. The 7″ Singles contains 80 vinyl seven-inch singles, starting with 1970’s ‘Another Day’ and working through the decades to ‘Women and Wives’ from 2020’s McCartney III.There are 65 recreations of singles/promos using restored artwork from 11 different countries. Additionally 15 singles are included that have never before been issued on seven-inch. These are mostly digital-only releases or songs that were for other reasons not issued on seven-inch.

Although he took up the baton mainly for practical reasons and originally hoped to focus on composing, Wilhelm Furtwängler is remembered as one of the 20th century's most important, most argued-about conductors. The quasi-Brucknerian music he wrote is now of merely passing interest; Furtwängler was a truly personal, original artist only on the podium. He approached performing as a way of re-composing someone else's work, reconstituting it with a strong infusion of the performer's own ideas and personality. At their worst, Furtwängler's performances could sound mannered, full of sudden, seemingly unmotivated tempo shifts.

The eight-volume set LNCS 13375 – 13382 constitutes the proceedings of the 22nd International Conference on Computational Science and Its Applications, ICCSA 2022, which was held in Malaga, Spain during July 4 – 7, 2022.

Being one of the most remarkable pianists of his generation in Russia, he is known for his ability to play equally convincingly in the whole palette of the piano repertoire. He won prizes in the Beethoven Competition in Vienna in 1985, the Paloma O’Shea Competition in Santander, and the Tokyo Competition.

Eight CD set. After a long dry spell of no of live concerts, Tangerine Dream could finally go on tour again, and the pent-up musical energy was released by the band members Thorsten Quaeschning, Hoshiko Yamane, and Paul Frick in March 2022 in Ireland and the UK. As a VIP guest musician they invited Steve Rothery of Marillion, who accompanied the band with his guitar during a total of three live sessions in Coventry, London and Manchester. These live sessions have now been preserved on over 8 hours of completely new music! The limited box set contains 8 CDs in a cardboard sleeve, a 20-page booklet, plus 10 separate photos of the band.
