ARPOLOGY is Sample Logic’s most groundbreaking achievement to date; the world’s first virtual instrument and MIDI effect dedicated entirely to arpeggiated/sequenced instruments. ARPOLOGY goes far beyond, breaking the box of the everyday arpeggiator. It employs an entirely new approach to step sequencing. The core of ARPOLOGY has been designed around Sample Logic’s newest invention, the powerful Step Animator – a step-sequencer and arpeggiator fused into a single engine for animating complex melodic and rhythmic patterns on a per-step basis, eliminating the limitations of traditional sequencing.

VZone is a software synthesizer utilizing the sampler engine of Native Instruments Kontakt 4 (and above) and sets the focus on one of the coolest digital instruments ever built: the Casio VZ. After their highly successful CZ-series, Casio created the VZ - a vastly improved synthesizer using Casios own FM-style architecture: iPD (Interactive Phase Distortion).

A Legendary Mid-80's Synth Expertly Recreated For The Plugin Age! "Vector X Bundle" is based on the Sequential Circuits Prophet VS synth, as used by the likes of Brian Eno, Trent Reznor, Apollo 440, Depeche Mode, Vince Clarke, Kraftwerk, Vangelis, Erasure and filmmaker/composer John Carpenter amongst others.

In 1974, UK band 10cc started work on an album called 'The Original Soundtrack' which spawned a single released in 1975. And what a single! "I'm not in love" was arguably one of the most adventurous records of the time in terms of production value as well as being a damned good song with a damned good tune and clever, whimsical lyrics. Written by Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldman, the signature sound in 'INIL' is, of course, that massive wash of vocal texture and, as is probably well known now, in 1974, in pre-sampler days, it was a monstrous task.

The Sequential Circuits Prophet VS was a vector synthesiser produced between 1986-87. It utilised samples of waveforms as oscillators. These waveforms were then routed through traditional analogue filters and envelope generators etc. The sound of the Prophet VS was different from the usual analogue polysynths of that era and was notable for its use by many film score composers (including John Carpenter).

Sample Logic breaks new ground with IMPAKT – A suite of over 850 breathtaking morphed concert percussion instruments and multis that will blow you away. This diverse collection of instruments ranges from dramatically twisted marimbas and xylophones, blissful chimes and bells to massively transfigured timpani, gongs, bass drums, cymbals, and a variety of world percussion instruments. IMPAKT also includes a complimentary set of traditional concert percussion instruments.
