After a three-year break that included solo projects and soundtrack work, Korn's re-emergence in the summer of 2002 was met with great anticipation. They delivered Untouchables, an album that shows them building on their previous sound and emphasizing its strengths. The use of melody is more important than ever, allowing Jonathan Davis to utilize his wide palette of vocal tricks. His charismatic voice can now move from a clear-throated wail to a death metal growl with ease, lending the album a manic side that brings to mind King for a Day, Fool for a Lifetime-era Faith No More…

Full of shrilly, distorted guitar squeals, bass-heavy darkness and laryngitis-inducing growls, Korn's sophomore turn, the oh-so sarcastically titled „Life Is Peachy“, is a musical tour through some truly evil corners. The Bakersfield quintet's paranoia-induced rampage makes countless by-the-numbers death-metal acts seem cartoonish by comparison.

While their last album, the dubstep-drenched Path of Totality, felt like a real change in the way Korn did things, The Paradigm Shift finds the nu-metal pioneers once again changing things up on their 11th studio album. Returning to a more traditional sound, the record finds the band pushing the electronics back to a supporting role while putting the guitars up in the spotlight. Most notably, though, is the return of former guitarist Brian "Head" Welch, whose last appearance on a Korn record was a decade ago on Take a Look in the Mirror. The renewed partnership between Head and Munky is one that pays off, but not in the way longtime fans might expect. Rather than making a full-on return to the sort of guttural, shuddering sound the band made famous in the '90s, The Paradigm Shift is a much more driving and direct album…

A veteran of NYC's roots and jazz scene, Tamar Korn joins musical partner Kyle Morgan on their debut album as a duo, Darkening Green. The two deliver wonderful complementary, front-porch harmonies on timeless songs from the repertoires of the Carter Family, Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, Leonard Cohen, and The Everly Brothers in addition to several originals. The New York Times has called Korn's singing "smartly mewling" while the Wall Street Journal termed her singing "sublime… transcendent." Of Morgan, Bandcamp Daily said, "Morgan's acoustic folk songs are universally appealing." Under the Radar said, "Morgan is grounded in the tradition of acoustic singer/songwriters, but shows a penchant for particularly strong writing." Together, Korn and Morgan draw you into a warm, familiar space, rich in tradition, ringing with acoustic guitars and resplendent harmonies.

Alone I Play is the debut live album by Korn vocalist Jonathan Davis's solo effort, released on November 10, 2007 by Invisible Arts. The album was recorded at Malibu's Woodshed Recorder on November 7, 2007, the day before Davis embarked on his first solo tour, the Alone I Play tour. The album features songs originally composed by Davis and Gibbs for the 2002 film Queen of the Damned, as well as classic and uncommonly performed Korn songs. Despite the fact that this is a solo effort, three members of Korn's backup band appear on Alone I Play: keyboardist Zac Baird, guitarist Shane Gibson and percussionist Michael Jochum. The album's title is a pun on Korn's 2002 single "Alone I Break".

From Korn's legendary bassist comes a no-holds-barred look at the extreme highs and drug-and-booze-fueled lows of the biggest heavy metal band of our eraMusic was in his bones. From the time he was an infant, Fieldy watched his dad's band perform, and soon enough he found his own calling: the bass. After high school, with a guitar and little else, he left his small California town for the music scene in L.A. Before long, Fieldy, Brian "Head" Welch, James "Munky" Shaffer, drummer David Silveria, and Jonathan Davis would gel together and form a band with a completely new sound—Korn.
