Delivering hot-wired pop-punk with sharp melodic hooks and enough energy to power a fleet of 18-wheelers, the Leftovers hail from Portland, ME, and were consist of Kurt Baker on bass and lead vocals, Andrew Rice on guitar and backing vocals, and Adam Woronoff on drums. The band garnered a true cult following within the underground pop-punk scene, getting attention from all-stars Ben Weasel and Larry Livermore - the founder of Lookout Records praised the band for "Brilliant songwriting and performances".

The New Trocaderos have been honored twice with "Coolest Song in the World" awards from Steven Van Zandt on his Sirius XM radio station, Little Steven's Underground Garage, and band members, collectively, have earned an astounding 15 Coolest Song Awards, far more than any other band. Thrills & Chills, the band's 1st full-lenght studio release, features 12 tracks included contributions from primary band members Brad Marino, Geoff Palmer, Kurt Baker, Kris Rodgers, and Rick Orcutt. A number of supporting musicians also took part, with Michael Chaney contributing songwriting and sassy background and harmony guest vocals from Kim Shattuck, Palmyra Delran, and Line Cecilie Dahlmann; Exile On Main Street-style horns, and many other surprises… The Album met with a largely positive reception from critics for its "power pop" sound, with positive reviews from publications such as Goldmine Magazine and Power Pop News. Faster and Louder named the album No.1 on its list of the "Top Ten Albums of 2015".

The New Trocaderos is an independent American Rock 'N' Roll/Power Pop/Garage Rock band formed in November 2013 by New England natives Brad Marino and Geoff Palmer of The Connection, and Kurt Baker of the Kurt Baker Band. "Frenzy In The Hips" is a compilation of previously released band's EPs, includes "The New Trocaderos" and "Kick Your Ass" plus additional hit single "Luckiest Man In The World", described as a "hook-filled rockin' pop rooted deeply in the British Invasion and garage rock sounds of the 1960s".

The New Trocaderos build on the best of the British Invasion sound, with Power Pop/Rock And Roll hooks, harmonies, and a driving "frenzy in the hips" beat. Featuring Kurt Baker / Brad Marino / Geoff Palmer.

"Early Chet" compiles tracks jazz trumpeter Chet Baker recorded while on tour in the mid- and late '50s. These tracks were made at the height of Baker's popularity and showcase him in fine form throughout. Featured here are several (rare for Baker) big-band numbers, as well as two superb duets with Italian vocalist/guitarist Caterina Valente, "I Remember April" and "Everytime We Say Goodbye".

With the growing popularity of Chet Baker's first vocal album, Chet Baker Sings, Pacific Jazz producer Richard Bock wanted to capitalize on both facets of his young star's abilities. Hence, the trumpeter turned vocalist entered the studio in 1955 with both his quartet featuring pianist Russ Freeman and an expanded sextet including bassist Red Mitchell, Bud Shank on flute, and various string players. The resulting album, Chet Baker Sings and Plays, helped set in stone the image of Baker as the jazz world's matinee idol and icon of '50s West Coast cool. His laid-back style – a mix of '30s crooner and Miles Davis' nonet recordings – appealed in its immediacy to a jazz public tiring of the hyper, athletic musicality of bebop.

So it came as something of a surprise for European audiences to hear the Chet Baker they discovered at his live concerts: a trumpeter with a decisive attacca style and lively boppy lines, accompanied by a pianist who combined innovative harmonies with bizarre rhythms and a drummer who propelled the band with a hard, driving beat. No one was prepared for this Chet Baker Quartet, featuring pianist Dick Twardzik, bassist Jimmy Bond and drummer Peter Littman.
