Along with such releases as NO CONTROL and AGAINST THE GRAIN, Bad Religion's 1988 release, SUFFER, is one of their finest. The band (which saw the original line-up reunite for the album's release) was improving and becoming more and more focused with each successive release, and SUFFER showed the band as one of the world's top thought-provoking punk outfits.

Bad Religion - The New America (2000) [with 'New America' CDS] RESTORED

Bad Religion - The New America (2000) [Japanese Release]
2x FLAC+CUE+LOG or MP3 CBR 320 | Complete Scanwork | 453 or 142 MB
Japanese Release features 2 bonus tracks / also includes "New America" CDS

Best described as thinking man's punk rock, the 20-year veteran of a style at times diluted by weak imitation returns with its first studio release since 1998's NO SUBSTANCE. THE NEW AMERICA triumphantly reunites Bad Religion with founding guitarist Brett Gurewitz songwriting talent, and if that isn't enough to capture the attention of long-time fans, rock icon Todd Rundgren lends his much sought-after producing talents for these sessions. Vocalist and principal writer Greg Graffin's trademark layered harmonies are an integral part of what places Bad Religion far above lesser punk acts, and here they dominate songs such as "1,000 Memories", "The Hopeless Housewife", and "A Streetkid Named Desire". Bad Religion is no stranger to social commentary on technology and its effect on society, and "I Love My Computer" combines these sensibilities with melodic hooks and modem sound effects. The band's gift for writing thought-provoking, affecting music puts THE NEW AMERICA in a class of its own.

The most controversial videos from one of industrial music's most legendary and notorious acts arrive on DVD uncut and uncensored in Ministry: Tapes of Wrath from Warner Reprise Video.
Until Nine Inch Nails crossed over to the mainstream, Ministry did more than any other band to popularize industrial dance music, injecting large doses of punky, over-the-top aggression and roaring heavy metal guitar riffs that helped their music find favor with metal and alternative audiences outside of industrial's cult fan base.

True North is the sixteenth studio album by the Los Angeles' punk icons Bad Religion. The recording sessions took place in July and August 2012 at Joe's House of Compression, a studio owned by Joe Barresi, who produced the album. In a world still brimming with inequality and oppression, the band’s trademark dissent seems as relevant as ever. True North is one of the band’s most emotionally accessible works to date.
