The ineffable magic of New York City fires the imagination of superstar pianist Lang Lang on his new album New York Rhapsody (Sony Classical) available September 16, 2016. He is joined by a wide array of special guests including Andra Day, Herbie Hancock, Jason Isbell, Jeffrey Wright, Kandace Springs, Lindsey Stirling, Lisa Fischer, Madeleine Peyroux and Sean Jones. From the haunting reveries of Gershwin and Copland to the in-the-moment intensity of songs made famous by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, Lou Reed and Don Henley, New York Rhapsody rediscovers the dazzle and the soul of America's most symbolic city. Following the release of the album, a star-studded concert special Live From Lincoln Center will air on PBS on November 25, 2016 as part of the PBS Arts Fall Festival.

The Vienna Philharmonic performed its annual Summer Night Concert Schönbrunn, an open air event with free admission, in the unique ambience of the gardens of Schönbrunn Palace on Thursday, May 29, 2014. The Summer Night Concert was conducted for the first time by Christoph Eschenbach. The soloist was Lang Lang.

World-renowned pianist LANG LANG turns to the composer who has accompanied him throughout his career on his new release for Sony Classical, THE CHOPIN ALBUM. The music of Chopin, universally loved for its beauty and communicative power, has long been a dynamic force in Lang Lang's life, propelling him through a number of career-defining experiences. The first volume in Lang's fairy tale series features some of the finest stories from around the world, most of them old favorites: 37 in all, including "Sleeping Beauty," "Rumpelstiltskin," "Cinderella," "The Arabian Nights," "Beauty and the Beast," "Hansel and Gretel," "Jack the Giantkiller," and "Puss in Boots." Includes original 138 black-and-white illustrations.

Kora, guitar and tabla come together in unity when Mamadou Diabate, Jeff Lang and Bobby Singh play to an astonishingly beautiful and surprisingly natural recording that displays the conversational and virtuosic style that all three are renowned for. Highly recommended.
