Over the course of time there have been many overlooked artists in classical music, because of their race and/or gender. It is important to acknowledge that we have not yet heard the whole story due to this sidelining of voices. Composers Joseph Boulogne Chevalier de Saint-Georges, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, William Grant Still, Florence B. Price, Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson, and George Walker, have all contributed beautifully crafted works to the repertoire, but are not widely celebrated.

"Journey to Golden" is a spirit lifting and heartfelt 11-track album that features songs written and performed by Chantae Cann, featuring honest and uplifting lyrics, skillful musicianship and unparalleled vocals. Wordsound Records released the debut extended play by MC Paul Barman called It's Very Stimulating. This EP is notable for being produced by Prince Paul. 2000 is the copyright on the CD.

In Stereo is the first studio album by breakbeat/hip hop duo Bomfunk MC's. It reached #1 on that year's Finnish albums chart and remained charted for 69 weeks. The album's second single "Freestyler" became a chart-topping hit worldwide during the first half of 2000, reaching number one in eleven countries.

Hawd Gankstuh Rappuhs MC's Wid Ghatz were a hip-hop group featuring rappers Dook "Dookie" Crapmore, Flybot Van Damn, and God Albino. Their debut album cover is a parody to A Tribe Called Quest's Midnight Marauders, but their music didn't sound anything like Tribe. The true identities of these "Gankstuh Rappuhs MC's" remain unknown and may actually be one person portraying three different "rappuhs". Track 19 features a few minutes of silence before a hidden/secret song pops up.

Return Of The Product is the 1992 solo album by Michael Berrin, better known as MC Serch. A member of the hip-hop group 3rd Bass, this album came about when 3rd Bass split up. He only recorded one album before getting more involved with the industry side of things. He also became a radio DJ and talk show host since then, keeping the MC Serch name. The album featured the hit songs "Here It Comes" and "Back To The Grill" and the semi-hit "Daze In A Weak." This was released by Chaos Recordings via Def Jam before Def Jam moved from Columbia/CBS to become a Polygram/Universal entity.
