Les Pommes de ma Douche

This album was born from a meeting. One comes from jazz, the other from musette. One is the great reviver of Manouche jazz, heir to Django, the other, accordion world champion, heir to Jo Privat. Both are fine melodists and have written and composed hundreds of songs. This is the first time that Romane and Éric Bouvelle are on record. The result is 12 thundering tracks, in the pure tradition of the swing waltzes of Paris of the past: the strings rub, the accordion blows, the jazz and the java are there and tangle! They are accompanied by Mathieu Chatelain and Laurent Zeller and Laurent Delaveau (Les Pommes de ma douche). They manage to bring this sophisticated popular heritage to life by reinterpreting the great standards by offering new tunes!
