Philippe Sarde is one of the greatest composers of film music ever. Even if his work has been mainly concentrated on French and European films, his reputation has spread around the world. With more than 350 soundtracks in 50 years, no one could escape his compositions. He has collaborated with the greatest French and European directors: Claude Sautet, Roger Vadim, Costa-Gavras, Marco Ferreri, Roman Polanski, Jean-Jacques Annaud, the list is endless. And to dress his music, he systematically surrounded himself with the greatest.
