Life is Sweet 1990

Living in the Past is a double album quasi-compilation collection by Jethro Tull which contains album tracks, outtakes, the "Life Is A Long Song" EP, and all of their singles non-lp tracks except "Aeroplane", "Sunshine Day", "One For John Gee", "17" and the original United Kingdom version of "Teacher" (the United States single version, included in the US version of "Benefit", was included instead).

For many years, the Charlatans were perceived as the also-rans of Madchester, the group that didn't capture the zeitgeist like the Stone Roses or the band that failed to match the mad genre-bending of the Happy Mondays. Of course, they were more traditional than either of their peers. Working from a Stonesy foundation, the Charlatans added dance-oriented rhythms and layers of swirling organs straight out of '60s psychedelia. At first, the Charlatans had great promise, and their initial singles including "The Only One I Know" were hits, but as Madchester and "baggy" faded away, the group began to look like a relic.

Vocalist/guitarist Joe Lynn Turner began his musical career as the frontman of Fandango in the late '70s. Turner sang and played guitar on the band's four albums, from a 1977 self-titled debut to Cadillac in 1980; this work brought him to the attention of Rainbow's Ritchie Blackmore, who picked Turner to replace former vocalist Graham Bonnet. Turner's stay in Rainbow lasted from his 1981 debut on Difficult to Cure until the group's breakup in 1984; during that time, Rainbow released five albums and earned hits like "Stone Cold" and "I Surrender." Second Hand Life is the tenth solo studio album by Joe Lynn Turner. The album features songs written by artists like Jim Peterik and Martin Briley.
