Disc Three finds Left Hand Frank Live at the Knickerbocker Caf‚. Disc Four includes J.B Hutto and the New Hawks' Live at the Shaboo Inn, Conn, 1979. Disc Five features Eddie Clearwater' Two Times Nine. The final CD, Disc Six, contains Luther "Snakeboy" Johnson's Get Down To The Nitty Gritty. Last Call. 2007.

To simplify my life considerably, I'm going to combine the "reviews" of all six Stage releases into a single entry, even though they were released individually. Also, to save a lot of time and effort, I'm not going to give complete track listings of the twelve discs, or do song-by-song reviews (hey, we're talking over 800 minutes of music here, give me a break). If you need to know the track listings, they're probably available through an on-line music sales site like CDNow, or an information site like the All Music Guide. There's probably a few other Zappa sites that list them as well. Maybe one day when I have the time, I'll come back and expand this section to really cover all twelve discs in detail. Until then, I'll just give some general facts and opinions, focusing on highlights and material unique to the Stage series.

Little Richard s 1957 debut launched the career of a foundational figure in rock music, and featured some of the artist s best-loved hits, including Long Tall Sally, Ready Teddy, Jenny Jenny and Tutti-Frutti, a song which many consider to mark the birth of rock n roll. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of this classic record, Craft Recordings will reissue a deluxe, 2-CD edition, which includes a slew of demos, outtakes and previously unreleased tracks, as well as new liner notes by GRAMMY®-nominated music editor and journalist Chris Morris.

With the release of the Motorcity Madman Ted Nugent new live CD Full Bluntal Nugity, Spitfire has also unleashed his 4 long lost `80s Atlantic albums for the second time on CD as part of the Spitfire Master Series. Nugent/Penetrator/Little Miss Dangerous/If You Can't Lick `Em… Lick `Em have all been given the full bluntal digital remaster overhaul. The original Atlantic CD's sounded horrible. With these new remastered CD's you get the FULL BLUNTAL NUGITY and they have some very dangerous high points now. These CD's hit the bulls eye mark. Sadly these albums when first issued did not go further than reach the Nuge army of fans and get a few new comers due to low promotion from his then label Atlantic. All 4 CD's have been updated with new liner notes on the history of each album buy Nuge & Gary Graff. Do yourself a favor and pick them up. Play these CD's loud and you will rock your brains out.
