Easily the most hard-hitting of Blue Note's 2LP Lighthouse Live series from the early 70s – and a record that really lets Elvin Jones and his group stretch out and play! The setting is a perfect one for Jones – given the boundless energy already present on his studio sessions for Blue Note at the time – really fierce work that goes beyond even his classic Coltrane performances – pushing the limits in a sweet blend of rhythm and reeds! The group here is Elvin's razor-edge combo from the early 70s – the one that features Gene Perla on fat funky bass, and both Steve Grossman and Dave Liebman playing choppy reeds along with the grooves – really amazing hornmen at this point in their career, blowing here with interplay that's simply fantastic!

The Blu-ray includes renditions of 13 REO tunes, including hits like 'Keep On Loving You,' 'Take It On The Run,' and 'Time For Me To Fly' along with the classic gem '157 Riverside Avenue' plus first ever live versions of 'In Your Letter,' 'Golden Country,' and 'Like You Do.' Live At Moondance Jam also contains an interview with lead vocalist/guitarist, Kevin Cronin.

Sony Music Entertainment presents Vladimir Horowitz Live at Carnegie Hall, a deluxe CD edition that gathers together the complete RCA and Columbia recitals that the legendary pianist recorded live at Carnegie Hall between 1951 and 1978 including eight previously unreleased complete concerts, as well as 48 works in previously unreleased recordings all on 41 CDs.

Jo Hell started playing in bars in the Montreal (Canada) area at the age of 16. After two years of playing jam nights seven nights a week, Jo Hell decided to start his own band, which he names "Jo Hell & The Red Roosters". As the years went by, the number of shows increased and the demand for the band became more and more obvious. They appeared at several festivals and the local popularity of the band began to shoot to the top. Many articles in the local newspapers, their appearances at local radio stations and television, as well as on numerous websites confirm the charisma of the band. "Jo Hell & The Red Roosters" came to Austin for "SXSW" in March of 2006. They graced the stage of Nuno's on 6th and were promptly featured at the "Red, White and Blues Festival" at "Waterloo Park" in July of 2006. Since that time the Jo Hell band has recorded 3 new albums: "Jo Hell" (self-titled) (2008), "Live At The Pjeireblues" (2011) and the newest - "Rockin' Land" (2013).

This chronological, decades-spanning collection offers revelatory peeks at little-heard tunes as well as thrilling takes on beloved setlist staples. Reaching back to 1966, we get rare outings of folk/blues covers like "He Was a Friend of Mine" and Lead Belly's "In the Pines," while a 1978 recording from the legendary Egyptian performances at the foot of the pyramids produces a collaboration with oud master Hamza El Din on his own "Ollin Arageed."

During the final week of 1971, The Band played four legendary concerts at New York City's Academy Of Music, ushering in the New Year with electrifying performances, including new horn arrangements by Allen Toussaint and a surprise guest appearance by Bob Dylan for a New Year's Eve encore. Select highlights from the concerts were compiled for The Band's classic 1972 double LP, Rock Of Ages, which peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 and remains a core album in the trailblazing group's storied Capitol Records catalog.
