VINDICATOR is the debut solo album by Arthur Lee, formerly of the legendary ‘60s band LOVE. Released in 1972 by A&M, the LP features a muscular set of guitar-fueled hard rock laced with blues. The influence of Lee’s friend Jimi Hendrix is prevalent throughout the record. Included here is the superb soul spin “Everybody’s Gotta Live”.

Love were one of the most extraordinary bands to emerge from Los Angeles during one of the most remarkable periods in music, the dawn of the rock era in the mid ‘60s. Dreams And Images/Love Is The Revolution is a 2-on-1 collection of Arthur Lee Harper's first two albums he released in 1968 and 1969, the first originally released as an Arthur album, the second under his full name. This was remastered and reissued in 2002 by South Korean label Papa's Choice.

Now re-released, "Five String Serenade" was Arthur Lee's last album before serving 6 years of a vindictive 8 to 12 year jail sentence for alleged firearm abuse in 1996, during a dispute with a neighbour. Lee and his band Love remain one of the most respected artists to come out of the mid-60's West Coast psychedelic scene. "…Serenade was originally released in 1992 on New Rose Records, with Melvan Whittington on guitar, Tony Mikessell keyboards, Robert Rozelle bass & Gary Stern, drums.
