Despite being renowned in certain parts of the world (especially in Italy and their hometown of Paris), the space-age outfit Rockets remains largely obscure – even though they arrived on the scene at almost he same exact time as Kraftwerk and prefaced Devo by several years. The multi-membered outfit originally formed in 1972, under the name Crystal, performing on-stage in their regular street clothes. But by 1974, Crystal had evolved into Rocket Men, issuing a debut self-titled single, while its members began to assume the identities of aliens; complete with silver makeup covering their skin, grey contact lenses, space suits, and bald heads.

My Dark Twin is a companion to the band’s 1996 album Sweet F.A. The 22 track double CD release contains 8 previously unreleased versions, and 6 unreleased songs from the Sweet F.A. sessions, and 18 of the 22 tracks are on CD for the very first time.
Inventors of "Space-Rock" and laser beams during concerts, the Rockets are an electronic music band that has left its mark especially in Italy and Russia. Their silver heads and guitars in the shape of sun and stars are alive in the memories of all those who lived through the period between the 1970s and 1980s. Today the Rockets return to Italy with a brand new album entitled "WONDERLAND" full of new songs dedicated to the theme of children (our true future, a better future, a better planet).
